We reconfigured the house to incorporate a wider hallway on the ground floor complete with fire-rated crittall glazing, and also extended to the rear at ground floor level and in the loft.

Large areas of sliding doors and structural glazing look onto the client’s well-established rose garden from these rooms, and we claded both extensions in brown zinc in order to blend seamlessly with the garden and the London stock brickwork.

We also renovated the interiors, upgrading bathrooms with pops of pastel colours and lime-washing the client’s existing wide timber floor boards white to give a stripped-back light interior that lets the artwork and furniture stand out.
