We secured an advantageous planning consent extending and modernising this terraced house between the Commons in Clapham.
A full basement was undertaken, including a large cinema room to the rear that included a contemporary open-tread timber staircase and void, connecting it to the kitchen above. On the Ground floor, our clients were keen to introduce as much glass as possible , with the addition of a ribbon rooflight to the side return that then seamlessly returns to form a roof over the staircase, and a large vertical fixed glass panel facing the garden.
