Director & Architect
Dip AD, Dip Arch, RIBA.

Tom Pike has experience across a wide range of design disciplines having been involved in the commercial sector and the residential field. Having studied interior design as well as architecture has also broadened his approach.

During his career, he has been responsible for projects as varied as art galleries, restaurants, offices for advertising agents and marketing companies, barristers chambers and Harley Street clinics.

Latterly Tom’s work has been more concentrated on domestic architecture and design, as evidenced by the work illustrated in this brochure.

Tom enjoys designing houses and apartments for private clients and helping people navigate through the vicissitudes of a building project. Helping people make the most of their home environment is one of his passions.

Away from the office, Tom’s interests lie in art, sport, and politics. He is a keen tennis player and follows all sport closely. He has been a collector of contemporary art from an early age and has an impressive of painting and sculpture collection.

Edwina studied architecture at Cambridge and London Metropolitan Universities. She subsequently travelled and worked in the Far East, working on high-end residential schemes in Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur between 2003 and 2008. On returning to Britain, her interest in climate-related design led her to join ZEDfactory and then KSR Architects, where she researched carbon-neutral technologies and project managed eco-housing schemes, becoming the team leader responsible for all matters relating to sustainability and green design.

She joined Pike and Partners (previously named Giles Pike Architects) in 2010, and has been running all manner of projects from start to finish since that time.

Championing environmentally responsible architecture remains a keen interest of Edwina, as a Director of Pike & Partners.

Away from the office, she created the front cover of ‘The Dictionary of Ecodesign’ by Ken Yeang and Lilian Woo, and is currently editing a book entitled ‘At One with Nature.’
