St Mary's Road
The triple-height entrance hall and dining area are bifurcated by a dynamic open stair, forming the main feature of the building, and acting as a link between separate areas.
The house has been designed to be environmentally ecological. Solar panels, photovoltaic cells, water storage reservoirs and high levels of thermal insulation all contribute towards a house with a very low carbon footprint.
This new-build, low-carbon house, is situated on a conventional residential street in Wimbledon, London. Whilst there are references of 20th-century suburban architecture externally, the interior is modernist with an emphasis on open space, light and sharp minimalist detailing.
